I've got a man. shift '00 4x4, and sometimes it's stubborn to shift. It doesn't seem to be consistently when I'm upshifting or down.
Any thoughts?

hey erslincoln,
I just went through the same thing with mine. At first, it was hard to shift and then wouldn't shift at all. A bolt had worked loose in the tranny and the shifter fork was rubbing against it until it came out so far as to stop fork movement all together. This happened at my house as I was changing the oil. The mechanic said if it happened during a ride and the bolt came right out, there would be nothing left of the gears. (obviously) I pulled the engine out myself (to keep costs down) and it costs me about $100.00 CDN for the repair.
