The biggest problem I see is that, even though it's completely free of charge, it's still really hard to get traffic and contribution to a forum that isn't already established. There are four members plus me, at the time of this writing, and it's going to be difficult to get others.
But, my hope is still there. I figure a guy can post on the Honda sections of other forums all day long and hear about a billion Rincon, Rubicon, Foreman, and sport quad problems and solutions, and it's a pain to sift through all of that to find the relevant Rancher (TRX350) stuff.
That, and the new Ranchers are so different, that they really need their own section.

I think this site will get up and running very well.....i am not a person who subscribes to a lot of forums, but i am thinking that a forum where other members have the same type of quad as me can be nothing but most helpful...looking forward to seeing this site fly.

I agree. I do subscribe to quite a few boards, both for my Isuzu Trooper and for my Rancher, but it's hard to find vehicle-specific stuff, so I created these: newhondarancher.proboards28.com, and isuzutrooper.proboards20.com. I mean, I love going to the other sites to see what's going on, especially when it comes to finding stuff cheap. The more the merrier in that department. But, as similar as Honda ATVs tend to be, there's still a lot of stuff that's specific to Ranchers, and more specifically, to our types. Now, I understand there are subtle differences between '00-'01 and '02-'03 models, but I don't think they're really significant enough to cause us a problem. There are large differences, though between ours and the new style Ranchers, hence the separate board. I really had no idea how well this board would fare, but I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm glad you're all a part of it!

Hey, you got my attention. Let's learn from each other and have a good time. My riding hot spots are from 30 to 130 miles north of Anchorage Alaska. The season is kind of short because of late snow melt but the terrain more than makes up for it. Where do you guys ride ?

This is information about the ONLY place in my area to legally ride for free. There's a park over in Council Bluffs, IA, but it's $25 per person per day. That's a little steep. For that money, I'll go to an amusement park. Nebraska sucks for off-road parks and places to ride. It's even worse trying to get my '98 Isuzu Trooper dirty. I've got to drive 2 hours each way to go ride legally. That's not to say that I don't find somewhere to go mess around every so often less than legally, but it's always somewhere that nobody would care anyway, so it's hardly illegal. In no way am I condoning riding illegally, but I'm nobody's father (on this board), either. We're all responsible for ourselves. And our fines. ;D

I have a 2001 Fourtrax 350es(that's what we call em here) rather than "rancher" and i have aprox 15,000 km. on it(9500 miles).I have had a few problems but that is to be expected .I will post some of the things in the proper fourms. Can i get permission to post the link for this site on our club website. It's in Canada but we still ride red up here. ;D www.nsatv.com/IsleRoyaleCheers brucecb12 Thanks permission given and this site is now posted on our website. Cheers Brucecb12
